Wichard is launching 2 new ranges of knives for sailors and water sports enthusiasts. The last range dates from 1995 and had not been improved. It had left its mark on many people's minds, especially with its handle made of fluorescent material (which reflects light at night).
This time Wichard wants to address 2 different user profiles.
Sailors

On the one hand, the sailing enthusiast with the Offshore range. Wichard has designed a knife with a blade lock that can be opened with one hand and equipped with a strap. The blade is serrated to be more efficient on the ropes. This range is available in 2 models: single blade or double blade, the second blade integrating a shredder and a splicer. The knives of the Offshore range are available in 3 colors, the yellow color offers night visibility.

For nautical activities

More accessible with a tighter budget, the Aquaterra range is aimed at all water activity practitioners: fishermen, kayakers, hikersâeuros¦ This range includes 3 models with smooth or serrated blade, but also with a corkscrew. These knives are also available in 3 colors (but this time without the possibility of night visibility).

Designed as real tools, Wichard knives are built with the same rigor as the brand's shackles. The blades are of course made of stainless steel with specific treatments on the blade to improve cutting power and hold. The handles are made of polyurethane (colored part) to ensure a good grip.
These new products will be presented to the public at the next Nautic de Paris in December 2015 and marketed from January 2016.
