A generational story
Vedettes Sirènes was founded in 1933 by François Drevillon, who worked with his son Victor. " Our great-grandfather and grandfather were fishermen in winter, and depending on the tides, they organized tours of the Crozon-Morgat caves", explains Guillaume Drevillon, current manager of Vedettes Sirènes, and great-grandson of the creator.
A few years later, Victor Drevillon's three sons, Gérard, Pierre and Patrick, took over the business alongside their father. The business continued to develop, despite the arrival of a first competitor in 1984. Finally, in 1992, the Drevillon family sold their business to Jean-Gilles Guéguéniat, owner of the Rosmeur launches. Guéguéniat remained the sole operator of the Crozon-Morgat sea caves, developing the business until his death in December 2013.
Taking up the family torch
In January 2014, Guillaume and Antoine, the 4 e drevillon generation, decided to take up the family torch. " We said to ourselves, why not get involved in this adventure, we have the family know-how. Our uncles and father come from the maritime field and have themselves worked in the business."
After a 22-year hiatus, Guillaume and Antoine approached Vedettes Rosmeur to take over the family business. " They themselves had bought our equipment at the time, but kept the two activities separate."
And so the Drevillon brothers embarked on the family adventure, taking over the Vedettes Sirènes business.
