Loïck Féquet abandons due to a broken float

At around 11pm on Sunday evening, Maître Jacques' starboard float broke while he was in 4 e position in the race in the Multi50 category. Loïck was fine and there was no risk of dismasting but the boat was no longer maneuverable. Safe in his boat he waited for help. A tug from the SNSM towed him to the nearest port. François Angoulvant capsizes, he is rescued by helicopter

At around 11:25 pm, Cross Corsen received signals from the 2 distress beacons of François Angoulvant's Team Sabrosa SBR40 (Class40). The race management then tried to contact the skipper by various means but failed to make contact, it dispatched a helicopter and sent the speedboat from Ploumanac'h. At around 00:40, contact was finally established and François, who had managed to pull himself up onto the hull of his overturned boat, was taken safely to Brest for medical examinations.

Thomas Coville collides with a cargo ship

At around 11:30 pm, Sodebo Ultim' hit a cargo ship, but Thomas Coville was safe. However, the giant trimaran suffered a lot of damage: loss of the starboard float to the link arm, damage to the central hull at the front. Marc Lepesqueux lost his keel

At around 00:03, the Race Direction of the Route du Rhum received a call from Marc Lepesqueux to inform him that he had lost his keel. The skipper of "Sensation Class40" immediately took measures to ensure the safety of his boat: lowering the sails and filling the ballast tanks. He finally decided to reach Guernsey.
