Riva Yacht unveils its first steel unit

Riva Yacht has just announced that they will be releasing a new range of megayachts, built in steel. The first model will be a 50 meter yacht.

This brand new megayacht with a total length of 50 meters and a width of 9 meters will have 4 decks and will be able to accommodate up to 12 people and 9 crew members. Built in the unique Riva style, she will be spacious and comfortable to provide maximum comfort during long cruises.

An exterior created around the bridges

Many areas on board will be dedicated to relaxation and entertainment so that every guest can enjoy life on board, both day and night. On the bow of the ship, an outdoor kitchen will allow for intimate cooking while enjoying the view of the sea. A garage will accommodate two jet-skis. The aft part of each deck will host open-air spaces that will be used to create places for relaxation or meals. On the main deck, the cockpit will host a lounge area with several sofas and the upper deck will be a dining area with a large dining table. On the deck, a spa will be framed by a large sun deck. On the lower deck, the aft area will house a real beach club with a cocktail bar and an indoor lounge that can be opened to the outside thanks to a magnificent bay window to become a real swimming area. On the starboard side, a second terrace at sea level will allow to enjoy the sea spray. A floating garage will also be integrated to the ship and will be able to accommodate a shuttle of 6 meters in length.

A modular interior

The interior design and layout will be fully customizable to match the owner's taste. The shipyard will offer several versions of the main and upper decks, which can be fully furnished as living spaces or alternating elegantly furnished lounges and dining rooms. The main deck will be entirely composed of the master suite and declined in four different rooms: a private lounge, a large dressing room, a double bedroom and a large bathroom with two toilets and double sinks. In this suite, the two bastions can be folded on demand to create private terraces, overlooking the sea.

Guests will be accommodated below deck in four VIP cabins, with the same characteristics and dimensions. They will be composed of a large double bed and an office area. The guest cabins can be replaced, at the owner's request, by leisure and wellness areas such as a gym or spa or a second captain's cabin.

A luxurious crew quarter

Great care has also been given to the crew quarters. The galley is located on the main deck, the pilot station on the upper deck and the crew cabins on the lower deck. All these spaces will be connected to each other, allowing crew members to move around without disturbing guests. The captain will be accommodated in a comfortable cabin with private bathroom, integrated in the space dedicated to strategic and technical operations, behind the cockpit. Other cabins will accommodate up to 8 crew members, a cabin with bathroom for hostesses and two other double cabins with bunk beds for sailors. The crew quarters will also include a galley and a dining room.

Two different engines

This new 50-meter Riva will be available with two different engines: 2 CAT C32 2100 rpm or 2 MAN D2862 LE 466 2100 rpm. Both will be capable of giving the yacht a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Speed stabilizing fins will be installed to ensure maximum comfort and stability even when the boat is at anchor.
