The Cannes Yachting Festival welcomes the appearance of the SEABOB SE63, an underwater scooter designed by German manufacturer CAYAGO AG in partnership with Automobili Lamborghini. This model, designed for pleasure boating, paves the way for a new generation of on-board electric leisure craft.
A machine designed for superyachts

Weighing just 35 kilos, the SEABOB SE63 is designed for easy handling by a crew. Its compact design and convenient gripping points make it easy to store on deck or in a tender garage. Superyachts looking to diversify their leisure equipment now have a zero-emission electric boat that's just as well-suited to play at anchor as it is to underwater exploration.
Top-of-the-range materials for performance

The design features titanium and magnesium parts, combined with a carbon-fiber drive shaft. This choice of materials lightens the overall weight while guaranteeing resistance to marine corrosion. The integration of retractable elements, such as electric side wings, offers greater stability on the surface and facilitates handling for users of all levels.
Differentiated navigation modes

The scooter offers two modes: classic operation for underwater cruising and a sport mode that increases torque for surface acceleration. With the addition of an optional rear board, the SE63 can reach 35 km/h on the surface. The presence of a foil generates lift for a rapid start in the planing phase, paving the way for sensations akin to board sports.
When the automobile inspires boating

The SE63's cockpit features visual elements inspired by Lamborghini sports cars: start button, specific digital display and graphic signature. Beyond aesthetics, this collaboration illustrates the growing rapprochement between boating and prestige automobiles. For shipyards and designers alike, these partnerships reflect a desire to create products that are identifiable and distinctive on board.
Production scheduled for 2026
Series production of the SE63 is scheduled to start in 2026, with distribution via the usual SEABOB brand partners. Pricing has not yet been announced, but for information, the performance version of the Seabob is close to ?15,000...
