A logical merger after seven years of cohabitation
Since 2018, Nordship Yachts and Faurby Yachts have already shared their infrastructures in Lunderskov, Denmark. In May 2025, this complementarity will become a single identity: the Nordship models (360 DS, 420 DS, 450 DS, 500 DS and 570 DS) will henceforth be produced and marketed under the Faurby name. The shipyard retains its guiding principles: robust, ocean-going yachts with bright, comfortable deck saloons, custom-built to order.

Lars Buchwald's departure from Nordship management sealed this transition. Thomas Hougaard, now at the head of the combined entity, confirms technical continuity and the desire to push even further the customization of each unit built.
First model launched: the Faurby 360 DS
The first model to be officially renamed was the Faurby 360 DS successor to the Nordship 360 DS. It takes up the fundamentals of the original design tested in 2010, with several adjustments: additional hull portholes, revised layouts, aesthetic adjustments and upgraded equipment.

The 360 DS remains true to the architecture for which Nordship is renowned: raised deck saloon with panoramic view, fully protected deep cockpit, high-performance rigging (Seldén mast, self-tacking jib as standard), foam sandwich laminate hull, and internal structure reinforced by an integrated steel frame.
A site that stays true to craftsmanship

At Faurby, each yacht remains a unique project. Customers are free to choose the interior layout, wood species, furniture style and even the technical configuration. This rare freedom of design places the brand on the borderline between semi-industrial production and custom-built yachts.
The Faurby 360 DS has a base price of over ?500,000. This price places the model in the high-end Nordic cruising segment, aimed at (very) demanding crews in search of comfort, safety and balanced performance.
