Bali 5.2, another new model from Bali Catamarans after the 5.8

Just a few months after the launch of the Bali 5.8, Catana Group completes its range with a new model: the Bali 5.2. This 52-foot catamaran combines space optimization, improved navigation and rethought living comfort.

Evolutive design

Directly inspired by the Bali 5.8, this new model retains the emblematic elements of the range, while introducing a number of improvements. These include the rigid foredeck, the tilt-and-turn door and the direct link between cockpit and saloon, which is the DNA of this catamaran brand. The objective is clear: to optimize every available volume and enhance the boat's modularity.

A flexible, spacious layout

The Bali 5.2 features a wide range of interior configurations, from 3 to 6 cabins, sleeping up to 16 people. In the 6-cabin version, each aft cabin can accommodate three people, with separate sanitary and shower facilities. For crew, bunk beds and accommodation in the forepeaks are available.

The owner's versions focus on comfort and storage, with configurations adapted to individual needs (1+2, 2+2, 3+1). This adaptability makes this boat ideal for both family cruising and charter operations.

Smooth traffic flow and enhanced comfort

One of the main innovations of this model is its rigid foredeck, which is gradually replacing trampolines on modern catamarans. It provides a secure relaxation area, even under sail. The link with the saloon via a front door ensures smooth, seamless circulation between the different areas.

The rear deck, equipped with a hydraulic platform, reinforces the connection between inside and outside, facilitating access to the tender or swimming area.

Modern, ergonomic design

Designed in collaboration with PIATON-BERCAULT, the interior of the Bali 5.2 is distinguished by its clean, functional design. Rounded furniture lines, meticulous materials and a modern color palette create a warm, refined ambience.

The U-shaped galley, equipped with a large double-door refrigerator, is separated from the saloon by an optimized storage cabinet. The forward-facing chart table incorporates the latest technological innovations for automated management of onboard comfort and safety.

A modular rooftop

The rooftop, a signature of the great Bali models, offers a modular space combining sunbathing, lounge area and navigation station. The tilting helmsman's bench adapts to the various activities on board, offering optimal comfort and an unbeatable panoramic view.

Optimized performance under sail

In an attempt to remain true to the heritage of Catana (the brand of the group from which Bali originated), the Bali 5.2 relies on improved performance under sail. A 70 m² overlapping genoa (optional in addition to the self-tacking jib) should improve her upwind ability, while the 94 m² horn mainsail and 105 m² code 0 should enable efficient sailing in light airs.

For windless days, the catamaran is equipped with NANNI engines of up to 115 hp, guaranteeing reliable, high-performance propulsion.

The "inside-outside" concept taken to the extreme

Bali's trademark tilt-and-turn door transforms the saloon into a space totally open to the outside. This configuration offers an unrivalled feeling of space, while guaranteeing optimal insulation in harsh weather conditions.
