A model to accommodate a family of 4
In 2012, Tiwal launched its first inflatable dinghy, an inflatable boat that's seaworthy and easy to use. The catalog includes 4 models for programs ranging from cruising to fast gliding. Until now, the Tiwal 2 was designed for 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children, leaving one family member on the side. Now, everyone can come aboard the Tiwal 2XL, which can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children.
An easy-to-use configuration
At 3.80 m long and weighing just 52 kg, this new inflatable dinghy fits into two bags and assembles in 25 minutes. Its inflatable fenders and generous deck give plenty of room for all families and ensure a safe ride. It is equipped with an 8.2 m2 mainsail and a 1.8 m2 jib, rigged on an unstayed mast, so that everyone can participate in the maneuvers. Developed in collaboration with North Sails, it has been designed for sailing in light to moderate winds. Whether at sea or on the lake, the Tiwal 2XL is both responsive and fun to sail, for great family fun.
Features common to the range
The Tiwal 2XL features the same technical characteristics as the other models, namely an inflatable hull in high-pressure double-wall fabric and a V-shaped hull, an aluminum frame, a carbon mast and a boomless sail.
Ready to sail for summer 2025
The new model will be presented at the Boot in Düsseldorf in January 2025, and marketed at ?9,500 incl. VAT. The first models will be delivered in June 2025.
