GX Superyachts: a new vision for luxury yachting
GX Superyachts, presented for the first time in the United States, marks a turning point in the superyacht sector. Designed to combine luxury and respect for the environment, this range, developed by Greenline Yachts, is the result of over fifteen years' expertise in hybrid propulsion. The result is aluminum yachts that reduce CO2 emissions by up to sixty percent, while offering exceptional comfort for luxury yachting enthusiasts.
An eco-friendly range from 24 to 56 metres
The GX Superyachts range focuses on eco-responsible design without compromising on performance. Each yacht in the range is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system, enabling electric operation at 6 knots, with a range of 100 nautical miles. In diesel mode, GX Superyachts can cross the Atlantic at 12 knots. Their maximum range reaches over 11500 nautical miles at 6 knots, illustrating their flexibility and ability to meet the demands of long-distance cruising.
A structure incorporating solar panels
True to the principles of Greenline Yachts, GX Superyachts integrates extensive solar panels into the very structure of its yachts, linked to high-capacity lithium batteries. This approach enables the yachts to remain silent at anchor for 48 hours without the use of a generator, reducing noise, vibrations and combustion odours, for an experience that is more respectful of the environment and passenger comfort.
Two versions: Coupé and Flybridge
The exterior and interior design of the GX yachts was entrusted to Marco Casali of Too Design, who imagined harmonious, modern lines. The models are available in Coupé version, featuring a curved roof covered with sliding solar panels, revealing a large solarium with Jacuzzi and bar. Meanwhile, the Raised Pilothouse (RPH) version boasts a spacious flybridge with a resolutely modern aesthetic and a total volume of three hundred and fifty-three tons.
An exceptional interior
The interior design features noble materials and high-end finishes, with bathrooms by Antonio Lupi and fittings by Poltrona Frau, Rugiano and Cadorin. Casali has favored a fluid, elegant layout, creating a coherent space where every transition between the different decks is seamless. This visual and sensory unity reinforces the luxury experience for future owners.
International cooperation for aluminum constructions
To bring this ambitious project to fruition, GX Superyachts called on Turkish shipyard SES Yachts, specialists in custom aluminum constructions. The selection of SES Yachts, which is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary, was determined by their expertise in semi-custom projects and their commitment to sustainability. This cooperation has enabled construction of the GX42 to begin, with delivery scheduled for summer 2026.
The shipyard: a crucial step for GX Superyachts
The first model in this new range had its keel laid on June 1, 2024, with 50% of the hull completed. This project marks the beginning of a series of achievements designed to meet the growing demand for eco-responsible, high-performance superyachts.
