Railblaza, a pole for live probes

To control its live scope transducer, Railblaza offers a pole specially adapted to boats with low freeboard: kayaks, canoes, dinghies ... With the top of the pole, you direct the probe in the axis of view. Its support is removable, and the pole pivots out of the water when not in use. The total length of the pole is 76.8 cm and a base is included. Price 2023: 310 euros including VAT. A longer model of 155 cm is also available, but folded in 2 parts, with a folded length of 83 cm. Price 439 euros.

Maretron, an ultrasonic anemometer

The Maretron WSO200-01 is an ultrasonic sensor anemometer with no moving parts. This product connects to a NMEA2000 network. It received the Best New NMEA Product Award at the Product of Excellence Awards in Anaheim, California in October 2022. This anemometer indicates wind direction and speed, measures air pressure, humidity and temperature. Available in France from PST at 990 euros TTC (Price 2023).

Vetus, bow thruster for boats up to 9 m

Vetus introduces a small thruster for 140 mm tunnels. Suitable for vessels up to 9 m, or 30 feet, the BOWA0401 features a brushless induction motor, which allows for long run times and eliminates the downtime typically required. The thrusters will run for 10 minutes at full power, and even longer at a lower RPM only limited by the size of the battery, without fear of overheating problems. With three 140 mm tunnel length options available: 750 mm, 1000 mm or 1500 mm, the BOWA0401 can be easily adapted to most boats up to 9 meters. From 2900 euros (Price 2023)
