Perini Navi, 3 large sailing yachts for a new Genesis range

Perini Navi has unveiled the 3D visuals of three 48, 56 and 77-meter sailing superyachts, the first since the shipyard's takeover. Each one has been updated with the same characteristics of the shipyard, and introduces some specificities.

A new and modernized range

The Perini Navi shipyard, acquired a year ago by The Italian Sea Group, has just unveiled three new models of 48, 56 and 77 m sailing yachts. Called "Genesis", the fleet features the characteristic elements of the Italian manufacturer with a modern touch: large spaces, luminosity, ease of navigation and comfort. The exterior design reinterprets in a contemporary way the Perini style, whose boats are renowned for their elegance and timeless design.

The clean lines of these new yachts are combined with curved shapes and glass surfaces that diffuse natural light inside. The large aft deck, open to the sea, becomes a leisure space, in addition to the various flexible exterior layouts. The interior spaces are vast and organized with a fluidity approach. Each space is connected to the other while maintaining its own functionality.

A 48 m yacht in regatta and cruising version

The smallest model in the range, with a length of 48 m, will be offered in two versions: regatta and cruising. The new generation hull lines will ensure an even more comfortable navigation. The open cockpit at the rear will facilitate access to the sea, while offering great comfort at anchor. The sail management system on the two consoles will allow the management by a single crew member. The modernized superstructure will retain the shipyard's stylistic elements, namely the elongated roof cap, a double rounded glass windscreen and a relaxation area on the flybridge, behind the helm stations.

These new hull lines should also limit the angle of heel when sailing. She will be equipped with double rudders and a pivoting daggerboard to minimize the draught and facilitate access to ports and anchorages. An option of solar panels is also proposed by the shipyard.

56 m, the emblematic sailing ship

The 56m model is Perini Navi's most iconic yacht. It has been redesigned in collaboration with Malcom McKeon Yacht Design. To optimize sailing performance, the hull, sail plan and exterior styling have been redesigned. The new sail plan, entirely in carbon, will be equipped with the Perini Navi "sail handling system".

77 m with Falcon Rig

The 77-meter Genesis will be the first model to be fitted with the Falcon Rig, originally named DynaRig, which consists of self-contained rotating masts with rigid yards. This rig was first seen on the Maltese Falcon. This new sailboat will have two masts, and an electro-hydraulic management system for the rigging. This model will also have a huge beach club with spa and tilting terraces connected to the back deck.
