Ingenity 23E, a modern electric pontoon boat for relaxing at anchor

Ingenity, a Correctcraft company, unveiled a bold looking pontoon boat model in Düsseldorf. Offered with an electric motor, the Ingenity 23E offers a lot of comfort to enjoy a trip with 10 people on board.

Ingenity 23E is a fully electric pontoon boat with a modern design and bold lines of 7.10 m long. The length with platform increases to 7.35 m long. The gull wing hull is made of aluminum, while the superstructure is made of fiberglass. Unlike conventional pontoons, the Ingenity 23E's stern is completely open and has a large swim platform. On each side, two seats with a common backrest allow you to enjoy the navigation facing the sea or in the cockpit. By unfolding each seat, a large sunbathing area facing the sea is created.

A deck plan for comfort and relaxation

The rest of the cockpit is occupied by a bench seat on the starboard side, under which a cooler is hidden. On the starboard side, the comfortable helm station has a touch-sensitive instrument panel. A windshield with a central opening protects the cockpit and the pilot during navigation. A rigid hard-top houses the central part of the boat. For monitoring and maintenance, the mobile application Ingenity Connect allows to have a permanent visual on the state of charge of the batteries for example.

An electric motor to navigate in silence

The shipyard has equipped its boat with a sterndrive propulsion system oriented towards the front to optimize safety and maneuverability, for a draft of 0.76 m. The Ingenity 23E is equipped with a 160 kW electric motor with a Bravo 3 base. It is associated with a battery pack of 63 or 126 kWh, as on the visited model. The cruising speed indicated by the shipyard is fixed at 17 knots and the maximum speed at 22 knots. The maximum autonomy is 14 hours. In alternating current, the charging time is 10 hours at 240 volts and 50 amps or 5 hours at 400 volts and 32 amps, and 4 hours in direct current at 25 kW. The supercharger allows a complete recharge in 1 hour and a half at 80 kW.
