A 90-meter yacht concept combining intimacy, sportiness and a link with the sea

Tommaso Spadolini unveils a new concept of a 90 m long super yacht, designed in close collaboration with the owner. Among the requests, a lot of privacy for the owners, a strong link with the sea and sporty lines.

Three important characteristics

Tommaso Spadolini has unveiled the first details of a new design for a 90-meter-long sport yacht with a top speed of 20 knots. This project required close collaboration with the client to create the exterior and interior design. The brief, from the very first sketches, was to create lines that exude speed. The main deck is emphasized by strong convex lines on the owner's and upper decks. The straight lines required for the bulwarks and superstructure are concealed by flowing curves, which culminate amidships before descending to the generous beach club.

The specification included two other key features:

  • The design of the yacht should give the clients a feeling of close contact with the sea, despite its 90 m length
  • The owner must have a high degree of privacy from guests and crew

Thus, the emphasis was placed on the very large beach club, but also on the internal configuration of the boat to create maximum privacy for the owner.

A 365 m2 beach club on two decks

The beach club is located on the lower and main decks. It includes a 150m2 lounge with two tilting balconies. In addition to the gym and a bar, there is also a sauna and a massage and relaxation area. The bathing platform itself measures 65 m2, and the overhanging main cockpit offers an additional 150 m2 of space, bathed in natural light.

This 365 m2 beach club includes a 7 x 3 m clear-walled infinity pool. Suspended above the bathing platform, it offers swimmers an unlimited view of the horizon. The connection to the water is further enhanced by the balconies outside the sliding doors of the upper lounge.

A very large private space for the owner

To accentuate the concept of privacy, Tommaso Spadolini has created a dedicated owner's deck with access from the stairs and elevator. On this dedicated deck, the cabin offers a large owner's bed with a 270° view. There are also dedicated bathrooms for each member of the couple, with their own bathtub, dressing rooms, a wine cellar, a smoking room with humidifier and an intimate sitting area. An outdoor sitting area with a pool completes the amenities.

The lobby can be compartmentalized with specially insulated doors to cut off access to the owner's area and provide soundproofing. A staircase connecting the main deck to the sundeck is accessible from the outside, without having to pass through the guest areas. Even the small owner's pantry can be closed off with two doors.

Large storage facilities for toys and tenders

By flaring the bow and introducing a side deck forward on the upper deck, additional volume has been created on the main deck below. Here, there are six large guest cabins including two VIPs. Finally, a huge toy garage provides storage for a jet tender and several jet skis. The main dinghy garage can accommodate a 9 m boat.

With a helipad on the foredeck and features such as a nine-seat cinema and a 200 m2 sundeck with swimming pool, this yacht offers all the amenities for a wealthy owner or charter agency.
