Petzl headlamp, efficiency and solidity
Petzl, the French manufacturer of headlamps renews its range of outdoor products that will find a special place on our boats. The Actik and Actik Core models are IPX4 waterproof and weigh only 98 grams. They are powered by 3 AAA batteries or by rechargeable lithium batteries, available in option. Powerful, 450 lumens for the Actik and 600 lumens for the Actik Core, the announced autonomy is more than 100 hours. Available in 4 colors at 55 euros and 75 euros.
Farol knife, for the aesthetic sailor
The latest knife from the now famous cutlery for sailors is the Tibúr. It is inspired by the shape of sharks. Along with the Sperm Whale, another emblematic model of the La Rochelle cutler, this fish carries an important symbolism for sailors. By creating this knife, Farol pays tribute to them with beautiful materials and an original lock.
The sides of the knife are made of hard anodized aluminum to resist the marine environment. The blade, still made in La Rochelle, is made of Sandwick steel and is 12cm long. It is finished with a mirror polish. The spring has a large pad at the head to lift it and thus unlock the blade.
