LCJ wind and anemometer sensors are used in offshore races

Fully compatible with all brands and without any moving parts, LCJ wind sensors are used on ocean racing yachts. In IMOCA, Thomas Ruyant has adopted it by placing a sensor on the masthead and two sensors on the stern. These sensors have been improved to increase the speed of transmission of the information provided, with the on-board central unit analyzing and synthesizing the 3 data. The violent shocks at the top of the mast put the traditional sensors at risk. The LCJ monobloc models are less of a concern, avoiding the sailor to climb the mast during races. These sensors are 100% designed and manufactured in France and remain of course available for cruising.

Revolve, accessory for the rolling gaff

Revolve is the gaff that rolls. A surprising accessory which allows you to store a pike pole of more than 2 m in a drawer! The tip of the pike pole, the hook, is simply fixed with a quarter turn. Thus the manufacturer, an Englishman, imagined using this handle to fix many accessories. We already know the landing net, but it is now a brush and an adapter for cameras that are in the catalog, distributed in France by Seaview Progress

An imitation carbon flagpole

Carbonautica, imported in France by Nautex International, offers composite steering wheels to replace metal ones. Imitation carbon or colored, these bars meet a big success on cruising sailboats. This manufacturer also offers a very stylish flagpole. This one is available from 1 m to 1.50 m. It is made of fiberglass, with a carbon or painted finish. Available from 470 euros.
