Watch free or subscription sailing videos
Tip&Shaft was created in 2015 by Pierre-Yves Lautrou and Axel Capron with the idea of offering "cutting edge" content on competitive sailing to enthusiasts. After newsletters and podcasts, then a sailing film festival, a new video-on-demand service has just been created. Sailorz is a video on demand platform about the world of sailing. Portraits of racers and sailors, documentaries on sailing races, cinema films (mainly in 52 min format), original and exclusive productions, but also live broadcasts and upcoming race starts. All sailing practices and all media will be represented in the catalog, which offers new features every week.
The freemium platform offers part of its content for free, the best of the sports sailing videos already available online on various platforms and gathered in one place.
The rest of the videos are accessible via a monthly (5.99 euros/month) or annual (60 euros/year) subscription. The selections can be made in several ways: competitions, sportsmen, etc.
Sailorz is accessible from a PC, a tablet, a phone, iOS and Android apps, but also directly from an Internet box.

For this new service, Pierre-Yves and Axel teamed up with Frédéric Chevance, former general manager of Fox International Channels for French-speaking countries. Sailorz intends to produce its own content in the future.
A crowdfunding campaign has sold 650 pre-subscriptions and since the launch on January 1, 2010, the number of pre-subscriptions has increased to 1,500 er as of December 2021, 450 subscriptions have been taken out. A great start to the launch!
