A composite model
This winding gaff is made of composite. In a flash, it can be unrolled. The advantage is to have a long gaff without the inconvenience of storing it on the boat. A long handle is often embarrassing and difficult to store. This gaff can be rolled and unrolled very easily and many times without any problem. Thanks to the quality of the composite materials that make it up, but also to the design of this gaff, it is sufficiently resistant and rigid to meet the needs of sailors.
Adaptable tips
At the end of the pike pole, a quarter-turn connection system with bayonet allows many uses. Indeed, you can add a classic pike pole hook (sold as standard with the pike pole), but also a broom, a landing net or even a GoPro camera support. The Neoprene handle allows it to float.
One might wonder how rigid the craft will be. The manufacturer assures that it is rigid enough to lean on it and move a boat away from the dock.
