One boat, four drives
Alfastreet Marine is a Slovenian shipyard launched 18 years ago. Previously in the small boat segment - 18 feet - the shipyard has evolved and moved upmarket. First with an all-electric Alfastreet 21, then with the 25 Cabin Evo, which we were able to discover at the first presentation in Cannes. Presented in outboard version, the Alfastreet 25 is also available in inboard, hybrid and electric (Torqeedo), under the name Alfastreet 23. While the name changes, the hull length remains the same. The hull is equipped with two flaps to improve navigation.

A hydraulic roof
Its design is quite characteristic with a rather thin and elongated boat (2.4 m beam) with a rather small foredeck compared to the cockpit volume, a hull glazing on the front, and a smoked windshield. If it is offered as standard with an open hull, it can also be equipped with a hydraulic roof that can be completely closed when leaving the boat. A rather ingenious and fast system.

A "very" equipped cockpit
On the rear of our model, two nice sized skirts frame the 250 or 300 HP Mercury or Yamaha engine. They have direct access to the sunbathing area located in front of the sea, which can extend up to 1.70 m. The backrest reclines for more comfort. There is a storage locker underneath. Access to the cockpit is from this platform dedicated to sunbathing, on the port and starboard sides, by going down a step. Small side gates secure the access to the sundeck.

The cockpit is deep, well protected by the height of the bulwarks. There are two 3-seater benches facing each other and a table that can be enlarged. At the rear, in front of the sunbathing area, there is a kitchen unit with sink and stove as on our model, or an additional seat. The fridge drawer is located under the port bench seat and can be doubled if necessary.

This is followed by a well-equipped cockpit (electric controls) on the starboard side with a pilot and co-pilot chair on the port side. In total, 8 people can be seated in the cockpit of the Alfastreet 25 Cabin Evo. If the cockpit of the boat is very well equipped, it complicates a little the displacement on board, the space being rather reduced. With 8 people, it is difficult to imagine being able to move around at all. The pilot and co-pilot seats are glued to the saloon benches.

The front deck has a sunbathing area and access is via three steps and an opening in the windshield. With the help of the windshield pillars, you can stand on the steps, which are admittedly quite narrow. The front deck is also quite small, the shipyard having focused on the cockpit. If the children can appreciate having a small calm corner at anchor, we do not necessarily feel too secure by the access.

A small cabin for privacy
Although only 7.5 m long, the Alfastreet has a cabin. Admittedly small, with an access that requires a little contortion, but it has the merit of being there. You can change clothes or use the toilet (optional) in complete privacy. Insufficient for a couple, it will be perfectly suitable for children for a nap.

Our opinion
The Alfastreet 25 Cabin Evo is a real Swiss Army knife as it offers a complete layout: front and rear sundeck, large saloon, cabin... All in only 7.5 m! Its hydraulic roof is also an appreciable option, especially to protect the boat from bad weather. If the circulation on board is not the easiest, we appreciate the effort of the shipyard. Some adjustments could be made to keep the comfort and improve the movement with 2 seats for example and the suppression of the co-pilot seat.
