How to follow the sailing competitions of the Olympic Games of Tokyo 2021?

The Summer Olympic Games will take place in Tokyo from July 23 to August 8, 2021 after a postponement of one year. Among the 46 Olympic disciplines represented, sailing will start on July 25 with 9 events. Here is how to follow this edition which will be given without public, on the port of Enoshima.

The Olympic Games sailing events tokyo 2020 will take place from July 25 to August 4, 2021. The first 6 days will be dedicated to the various competitions. It will be necessary to wait until July 31 to know the Olympic medal-winning countries:

  • Wednesday, July 28: Women's and Men's Surfing
  • Saturday July 31: Windsurfing RS:X Men and Women
  • August 1st: Laser (Men) and Laser Radial (Women)
  • August 2: 49er (Men) and 49er FX (Women)
  • August 3: Finn (Men) and Nacra 17 (mixed event)
  • August 4: 470 Men and Women

How to follow the Olympic Games?

The pay-TV channels Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will broadcast the entire games.

France 2 and France 3 will broadcast the events live every day from midnight to 4 pm, the sailing events will be broadcast every day from July 31 to August 4 at 7:33 and 8:33. The finals of the Women's and Men's surfing events will be broadcast on Wednesday, July 28 at 2:30 and 3:15 respectively.

France 4 will be the channel for team sports, from 4 to 6:30 pm.

If you do not want to get up to watch the events, France TV will broadcast a special program from 4:00 to 5:45 pm to review the best moments of the day. Then the "Magazine of the Olympic Games" will follow from 5:45 to 6:30 pm.

On France 3, the special Olympic program Tout le Sport will be broadcast at 8:35 pm.
