Coastal or open sea

Launched in 2010, the Django 770 was elected sailboat of the year one year later. In 2021, 94 units have already been sold and the Marée Haute shipyard hopes to reach the hundred mark.

This 7.70 m sailboat built in infusion is approved in category A (with added unsinkability) and is thus intended as well for the small coastal cruises as for the long oceanic edges.

3 versions of ballast

It is available in 3 versions: keelboat, twin keel and lifting keel (draught reduced to 0.90 m). But it is the version with two appendages that is the most popular, representing 75 units sold.

It is a really versatile boat that can run aground permanently with its 1.20 m draft. Finally, even in the two-keel version, its performance under sail remains very appreciable.

Concerning the motorization, the Django 770 can be equipped with an outboard or inboard motor.

A fast, high-performance sailboat

Since its launch, the design of the Django 770 has evolved to include a 30 cm long skirt, extending the overall length of the boat to 8 m. While the hull is longer, the boat keeps almost the same weight estimate, but gains in performance. It glides faster and has much faster speeds. Owners can also choose a delphinium as an additional option.

Several design versions

Inside, the Django 770 offers a complete layout with a double berth in the front in the Breton bed version and a double berth in the starboard rear. The saloon table can be lowered to provide additional sleeping space. A stove on the starboard side completes the set of facilities, as well as a chemical toilet (standard version), which can be replaced by a marine toilet (version mainly chosen by the owners).

The Django 770 is also available in a version with an enclosed bathroom in the saloon, with shower and toilet. This arrangement replaces the chart table and allows to gain an extra bed on the starboard side. A version favored by couples with children in particular.

With its long roof windows, the Django 770 offers a panoramic view from the saloon, an appreciable feature when cruising.

A boat present everywhere in the world

Since its launch, more than 10 years ago, the Django 770 has seduced many yachtsmen, in France as well as abroad: United States, Germany, China, Finland... And some of them do not hesitate to embark on long voyages and even transatlantic voyages, a great success for a "small" boat of 7.70 m!
