The Renard is a replica of the last ship armed in 1812 by the famous privateer Robert Surcouf. This privateer cutter emblematic of the city of Saint-Malo is chartered by the cruise operator Etoile Marine for stays or days at sea, or private events. The boat is also present at major maritime festivals.

The Recouvrance is a replica of an aviso, a XIX century military ship, built on the plans of the schooner "Iris", designed by the engineer Hubert in 1817. This sailboat was born from the initiative of public and private partners on the occasion of the national competition "Bateaux des Côtes de France".

The construction of the topsail schooner began in 1991 at the Guip shipyard. The launching took place during Brest 92 but it took another 6 years for the work to be completed. Today, the Recouvrance, property of the city of Brest, is an ambassador and symbol of the city. She participates in major nautical events, gatherings of heritage boats as well as the start of major races.

The schooner Tara

Tara was conceived by the explorer Jean-Louis Ãtienne who dreamed of following in the footsteps of the Norwegian Fridtjof Nansen, the first explorer to have accomplished the transpolar drift. Today, the aluminum schooner is the flagship of the Tara Expeditions Foundation, the first foundation recognized as being of public utility dedicated to the ocean. On board, scientists study climate change through various expeditions.

Pen Duick was Eric Tabarly's very first sailboat, inherited from his father. He will also use this name for his other boats, originating from Brittany and meaning "little black head". This Fife plan was born in 1898 before being bought by Tabarly's father in 1938. It was on board that the famous skipper learned to sail.

After a one and a half year refit at the Guip shipyard the sailboat has been restored to its former glory and will be back in the water in spring 2019. You will be able to discover in Lorient the whole fleet of Pen Duick.

Sodebo Ultim' 3 is a maxi-trimaran belonging to the Ultime class skippered by Thomas Coville. Launched in March 2019, it is capable of easily reaching 40 while flying on its large foils. It is distinguished by its innovative design and in particular its cockpit located in front of the mast, never before seen on a boat of this class.

The Belem

The Belem

The Belem was built in 1896 as a merchant ship for the Crouan fleet, shipowners from Nantes. It transports cocoa beans for the chocolate maker Meunier to South America and the West Indies. In 1984, it was transformed into a civilian training ship. It now belongs to the Belem Foundation and welcomes the public for stays of several days to discover navigation in the 19th century e century.

Joshua is a steel ketch built in 1962 at the Meta shipyard, which was located in Saône-et-Loire at the time. It was aboard her that Bernard Moitessier participated in 1968 in the first edition of the Golden Globe, the first non-stop round-the-world race.

On September 6, 1993, she was awarded the title of Historical Monument. Today Joshua continues to sail about 150 days a year for small cruises or nautical gatherings.

Hermione

Hermione

The Hermione is the replica of the eponymous frigate aboard which La Fayette sailed to America in 1780, alongside the insurgents, fighting for their independence. She was rebuilt by the Hermione-La Fayette Association after 17 years of work, started in 1997.

The Hermione will make its maiden voyage to the United States, a four-month journey in the footsteps of the Marquis de La Fayette.

France 1 is a 12-meter JI with a molded wooden hull and mahogany ribs built for Baron Bich. On board, the French industrialist participated in three America's Cup qualifiers, in 1970, 1974 and 1977, introducing France in this mythical event.

Transformed into a training boat, it then underwent a major refit to give it back its letters of nobility. Since then, it has participated in all the classic Mediterranean yacht races.
