Optimum Lithium Batteries, Seatronic's latest development

Easy to install, because integrating their BMS, the new Seatronic batteries come on the market. More compact, more efficient and guaranteed for 5 years, these new models could well interest boaters.

In 2018, Seatronic has developed a range of lithium batteries . For 2021, this company specialising in marine electricity is coming back with an even more powerful model.

These lithium batteries are equipped with new prismatic cells instead of the cylindrical cells of the old versions. This offers weight savings for improved performance. Thus the 100Ah model weighs 11kg while the 80Ah weighed 12kg in the previous version, a weight saving of 30%. The new models are also more compact.

Remember that lithium batteries can be almost completely discharged. So if you have a 200 AH lead battery, it can be replaced by a single 100 AH battery. Certainly this one will be more expensive (the model of 100 AH costs 995 euros). These batteries are guaranteed for 5 years and 5000 charge cycles.

A Bluetooth module allows to follow in real time on a mobile phone all the useful information of the battery (incoming or outgoing current, voltage, state of charge, number of cycles, status). This is possible from a free application available on Android and Apple Store.

The new Seatronic lithium batteries are available in 3 capacities: 100, 150 and 200 Ah.
