The 2021 edition of Boot Düsseldorf cancelled and postponed to 2022

Initially postponed in April 2021, the Düsseldorf Boot will finally not take place this year due to the global pandemic and the containment measures taken in various countries.

The Düsseldorf Boot has established itself in recent years as the world's largest indoor boat show. The first nautical event of the year, it welcomes every year in January thousands of visitors and exhibitors who come to discover and present the latest nautical innovations for the coming year.

Because of the health crisis that the world has been going through for almost a year, the organizers had decided to postpone the opening of the Boot from 17 to 25 April 2021. Although rumours of cancellation have been circulating for several weeks, the exhibition organisers have now confirmed the information.

"The persistence of a high level of infection associated with the fact that the end of containment is not foreseeable at this time makes holding the show at the end of April seem increasingly unrealistic. We have re-evaluated the situation with our partners and have jointly decided to cancel Boot 2021 at the earliest. Our priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors and service providers. We are now focusing on the successful organisation of the Boot 2022" explains Wolfram N. Diener, CEO of Messe Düsseldorf.

The Boot is therefore postponed from 22 to 30 January 2022.
