Web series / Wind Driven: SUP paddle retreat and preparation for the transpacific in Costa Rica

The crew of Windthrust has arrived in Costa Rica. Between SUP yoga retreat for Sarah, DIY on the boat for Aurélien and preparation for the transpacific, the days are full for the little family.

Sarah takes advantage of this stopover in Costa Rica to organize a week-long SUP yoga retreat, of which she is a specialist. It is in the heart of the jungle that she will give her classes, between the mangrove swamps and the waves of the Pacific Ocean. It is also the occasion for Nael to find her way back to the crib.

While Sarah works, so does Aurélien, but on the boat. Daddy takes advantage of this to install a wind turbine. The family also takes the opportunity to practice windsurfing and paddle during his breaks. They will also discover the Modoc, a boat of eco-activists, in charge of protecting the coastal and marine environment by preventing illegal activities thanks to a giant drone.

But this stopover in Costa Rica is also an opportunity for the family to prepare for the Pacific crossing. Dentist for Sarah and Aurélien, bunkering, sorting the pharmacy on board Aurélien and Nael for their part clean the fresh fruits offered by the farmers of the island opposite: lemons, coconuts, plantin banana and palm heart.

If the weeks are busy and dedicated to the craft of the boat, the weekends are reserved for children and the discovery of sumptuous landscapes.

But it's a bad surprise that awaits our boaters on this Sunday, March 15th. A news that changes their plans and that we will certainly discover in the next episode.
