Web series / Pushed by the Wind: A sail to Costa Rica accompanied by dolphins

After Panama, Pushed by the Wind finally arrives in Costa Rica. This magnificent navigation will take place accompanied by dolphins and birds to the delight of the crew.

After indulging their passion after arriving in the Pacific, Aurélien, Sarah and their two children weigh anchor to reach the border between Panama and Coasta Rica, their next destination. A navigation of several days accompanied by the numerous dolphins and thousands of birds.

If this two-day sailing proves to be magical - even at night with a beautiful crescent moon - it nevertheless takes place mostly under engine, the wind being quite erratic in Panama.

Another surprise is the catch of a huge dorado which will allow the family to afford its dose of protein.

After two days of sailing, they drop anchor in Puerto Armuelles, a coastal town in Panama on the border with Costa Rica. Arriving on Sunday and the customs being closed, the family takes the opportunity to fill up with water and ice. Everybody also goes to the hairdresser before the Pacific crossing, it's a big first for Nael?!

It's finally time to reach Costa Rica, with a departure at dawn accompanied by a splendid sunrise of soleil?! What a happiness for Aurélien to share this moment with his son.

If they are only 5.3 miles from Costa Rica, they have to round a cape and lengthen their course to 54 miles, to finally reach Playa Cacao in Costa Rica.
