An all-risk formula with complete coverage
- A true All Risks guarantee at all times
The boat, its accessories and equipment (even the tender) are insured including during wintering, maintenance, crane or repair operations, whether the boat is in navigation, in port, at anchor or ashore.
- An agreed value for the life of the contract
We agree on the insured value of the boat. In case of total loss, this value will be fully refunded, unless otherwise stated.
- Non-application of the franchise
No deductible in the event of total loss, theft with burglary, fire, lightning, damage to personal effects, as well as in the event of collision attributable to a third party when the boat is moored, unless otherwise specified.
- New for old
Damaged parts will be replaced by new parts in the event of a covered loss. Pantaenius will reimburse partial damage without deduction for obsolescence, unless otherwise stated.
- Support costs
Even if there is no immediate danger, we can cover up to 5,000.00 euros in assistance and towing costs to the nearest place of repair or supply of fuel, oil, battery and spare parts.
- Expertise fees included
If you have been in contact with the heel, the costs of the expertise in case of proven damage or not, will be reimbursed to you without applying a deductible.
- Abandonment of the vessel
If your life is in danger and you have to abandon ship, the Pantaenius contract will cover this loss if the ship is still missing after 3 months.
- Clean or constructional defect
The consequences of an inherent defect, a construction defect or normal wear and tear are covered with the exception of the defective part, unless otherwise specified.
- Transport and wintering
The vessel is covered all year round whether it is on the water, at the quay, on land, when it is launched, in a shipyard and during land, river or ferry transport within the contractual navigation zone.
- Rescue costs
The costs of rescue and retirement are covered by Pantaenius contracts, without limitation and even if they exceed the insured value of the vessel. Rescue is guaranteed even if it proves unsuccessful.
- Genuine Third Party Liability Insurance
Bodily injury, material or immaterial damage caused to third parties is covered by our Pantaenius Third Party Liability policy.
- Has the backup system been activated? Don't worry!
If you accidentally activate one of the backup systems (EPIRB or GMDSS), the search and rescue costs required may be covered.
- Pollution
Soil, water and groundwater pollution is covered under the Pantaenius Third Party Liability Insurance.
- Unsubstantiated claims
Your Third Party Liability policy covers you in the event of unfounded claims.
- Appendices and water sports
Liability related to the use of the dinghy and water recreation facilities is covered.
- The regatta: pure pleasure!
The use of your boat in regattas is automatically covered by your Pantaenius Liability Insurance.
