Sailboat over 18 m, the field of all possibilities

Beyond 18 m, we enter the world of personalization. If these yachts are mass-produced, they also offer many options to customize them according to the customer's wishes. The current trend is to offer elegant, sober, fast, but above all very comfortable and luxurious yachts.

Jeanneau Yachts 60
18,39 m

The Jeanneau Yacht range began with the 51, followed by the 54 and then the 64. There was one missing intermediary, a gap now filled with the 60, a model designed by Philippe Briand (an architect specialising in large units) and available in 19 layout versions with 4 distinct areas: forward tip, forward cabins, saloon, galley and aft cabins.

Mylius 60 CK
18,47 m

Mylius is playing the cruiser racer card. This yacht is capable of performing in a regatta as well as sailing between 2 creeks during the summer season. This yacht is fitted with a pendulum keel (like those of the IMOCA boats) which increases the stiffness without having too much draught (3.50 m anyway). Built in carbon allows an unladen weight of less than 15 tons. A fixed keel version (TE 3.80 m) is also available.

Amel 60
19 m

The Amel 60 was designed by the shipyard for owners who wanted more living space. While the Amel 50 offers 2 double cabins and a cabin with 2 bunk beds, the Amel 60 has 3 true double cabins. Longer than the 50, the Amel 60 also goes better at sea, however the offshore sailing programme remains the same for both models. A luxurious navigation with a very great comfort.

Aluminium centerboarder with a large panoramic deckhouse to offer a view outside from the saloon, this sailboat offers great comfort to its crew. Its construction with watertight bulkheads is an invitation to daring and adventurous sailing. The fatal weapon for the great voyage in the tropics or in the ice.

Baltic 67
20,52 m

Accustomed to custom sailboats for larger sizes, Baltic offers standard sailboats for the smaller ones. The 67 is part of this accessible range, but remains semi-custom given the number of options available. The yard includes it in the Performance Cruiser range, because designed by Judel-Vrolijk and built in sandwich, this yacht offers great performance under sail. Her rounded deckhouse shows a nice aggressive line.

NBC 66
20,61 m

NBC 66 is the successor to 60. These comfortable yachts are designed to allow navigation without necessarily having to go through a skipper. If the 60 had some performance problems, the new 66 erases these defects with a more slender line and a bowsprit to set good downwind sails. A unit which makes you want to cast off for long family outings.

Black Pepper Code 3
22,50 m

Sam Manuard designed the IMOCA l'Occitane for Armel Tripon. He also proposed to the Black Pepper yard an XXL version for the Code series. The Code 3 is a luxury performance access unit. We find the mini deckhouse (dog house) which offers a particularly retro silhouette to these machines. The flush deck is also pleasant only at sea. However, the inverted bow and the hull frigate are a reminder of this unit's program. Built in epoxy sandwich, there is no doubt that the first model should make the powder talk.

Solaris 80 RS
23,98 m

For this design, the Solaris yard wanted a streamlined unit. The cockpit is deliberately on a single level almost at the same height as the deck. The entire manoeuvring area is offset behind towards the bars, while the front of the cockpit is designed for relaxing. This yacht is equipped with 4 double cabins, each with its own independent bathroom. Depending on the owner's wishes, the galley can stay close to the saloon or be offset to the back of the boat.

Y-Yachts Y9
27,40 m

We still know very little about this flagship yacht. This German shipyard has for the moment a first Y 7 in its catalogue (21,50 m) particularly successful. The deckhouse with traditional shapes (dog house type) gives this plan a little retro look. Founded by Michael Smitdt (founder of the Hanse brand) and designed by the American Bill Trip, this new yacht could be as successful as its little brother (already produced in 10 copies!).
