A design inspired by sailboats
Bravo is a 75 m concept inspired by yacht design. Characterized by a maximized waterline and an almost vertical bow, it has a hull shape on the boundary between that of a motorboat and a sailboat, with an upward shear on the stern. Its superstructure is sporty and relatively low to give it a more dynamic and agile design.
The upper deck and flybridge offer several areas to enjoy the sun, as does the aft deck. The areas are equipped with sun loungers and mobile armchairs that can be moved around to enjoy the view of the horizon. Each sunbathing area can be protected by a shade cloth, made from a light fabric material reminiscent of the world of sailing.
Designed by Tià Simó and Louis Quin, the design is timeless and sophisticated. The side accesses allow all kinds of games to be taken on board and launched easily, without affecting the view or the space. The aft sundeck transforms at anchor into a beautiful space for lazing around and access to the sea.
An open/closed flybridge
"Another strong point of this concept, which represents the heart of the boat, is her flybridge" explain Simó and Gonzalo. This space, which also houses the jacuzzi, is modular and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding environment. Thanks to the sliding glass walls, guests can enjoy the view without having to suffer the vagaries of the weather. They can feel as comfortable in an open space while being protected as in a closed space. The glass railings also accentuate this feeling of visibility.
An arrangement for 12 people
The living spaces for getting together are vast and the interior is well ventilated and bright, thanks to huge windows. The interior layout consists of a master cabin, a VIP cabin, three double cabins and a twin cabin. A total of 12 people can comfortably stay on board Bravo.
Most of the cabins are located on the first lower deck forward, to be protected from engine room noise. The crew cabins, as well as the captain's cabin, are located at the bow of the vessel on the second lower deck, with separate access to the guest cabins. It can accommodate up to 21 members.
Triple Hybrid Drive
For the propulsion, the designers chose a triple hybrid solution with diesel, hydrogen and electric engines with azipods. This propulsion offers real versatility to be quiet, efficient and more environmentally friendly. In the event that there is no electric or hydrogen power supply available, Bravo will still be able to continue sailing using the thermal propulsion.
"Increasingly, architects need to bring more transparency to their designs. We enable clients to always have an outside view or simply to be connected to nature. The design process has focused exclusively on the client's external view of the environment, just like on sailing yachts" concludes Tià Simó.
