Ultra-compact, Antigua Compact Reversible has 2 reversible sides: a grill on one side and a plancha on the other to facilitate cooking on board. Designed to meet the growing demands of the European and North American markets, the Antigua Compact Reversible range is entirely designed and manufactured in France. This new model will be available from 2021.
A removable plate - a practical and innovative format
Space-saving and ergonomic, Antigua Compact Reversible allows you to have both a grill and a plancha in your galley. The removable plate has 2 reversible sides. A removable stainless steel circular handle makes it easy to manipulate the plate to change the side of use even if the plate is hot. Simply remove the stainless steel belt by unscrewing the screws and reinstall the plate on the other side.
High-performance heating
This high-performance plate perfectly diffuses heat over the entire heating surface and can reach up to 330°C in less than 5 minutes.
- On the plancha side, the plate is made of enamelled cast iron. Once the cast iron is hot, its heat retention properties make it possible to reduce the fire to a maximum for a real gain in energy consumption. In addition, to facilitate cleaning, a gutter to recover juices and fats is moulded directly into the plate.
- On the grill side, the plate has grooves for marking pieces of meat, fish and vegetables.
A mini size to fit everywhere
This new aircraft can easily be fitted into the cockpit furniture. Domino shaped, Antigua Compact Reversible is the standard size for household appliances. In addition, the height of embedding has been reduced to save space during the installation of the aircraft by shipyard crews.
French manufacturing with sustainable materials
Designed to last and withstand the demands of the marine environment, Antigua Compact Reversible features an enamelled cast iron plate and a marine-grade stainless steel stand that withstands the salty environment. The cast iron is poured in Alsace, then the enamelling, cutting, forming and assembly is done at the Niort site which today employs more than 100 people. True to its rare enamelling know-how, the enamelled cast iron plancha plate is guaranteed for life!
