A fundraiser for the launch of a new board
The young company has developed a new product called Flyer One, a "Flying Surfboard" marketing its electric foil, Waydoo has launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter which starts this June 16 at 11 am in the amount of $ 50?000. The company is also offering a pre-order at the rate of 3750 $, a 20% discount on its standard price of 4795 USD. This is an attractive rate based on several models already on sale, whose price is close to 13?000 euros, such as Fliteboard or Lift Foils.
An easy to use foil surfboard
Waydoo has worked on the design of the Flyer One to offer a board that is easier to use and has many features. Simply assemble the board, mast and kite with the six screws provided and insert the removable PowerFlight battery with a simple push.
The Flyer One can be used on sea, river or lake and provides a maximum speed of 42 km/h and a range of 55 to 85 minutes. The battery fully recharges in 2 hours. No need to have wind to take off since the electric propulsion takes care of it.
The Flyer ONE offers fully customizable color and length options, as well as a range of mast sizes for different performance.
Numerous functionalities
The board is controlled with the Jet One Controller . Pilots can choose up to 24 speeds in any mode: beginner, intermediate and advanced and can choose the position that suits them best: kneeling, sitting or standing.
Equipment, speed, and battery information is easily visible on the anti-glare display screen of the portable Bluetooth controller. They can also view all their trip data on the Waydoo application using the built-in GPS tracking function.
FightFreeze : If you fall into the water and release the controller trigger, the safety function automatically stops the propeller for added safety.
Wireless and hassle-free configuration No need for electrical cables, the Flyer One works by simply switching on the battery.
