Ariane, mother of Louna (4 years old) and Maël (1 year old) and her husband Rached have decided to leave to live on their Sun Odyssey 39. After some adventures that we told you about due to a boat full of vices.. Ariane tells us today about the deconfinement:

That's it, in this mid-June 2020, life has resumed its course around us like a second spring. No frenzy, but a revival of life in everyone's heart. Tunisia, very little affected by the Covid, will have been more affected by the economic downturn.

It's not the first time. After the revolutionary periods, the sad times of the attacks, Tunisia has always recovered despite the economic, political and ideological collapses of the last few decades. But there is no fear here, and everyone has willingly got back to work.

Once the workshops reopened, we were happy to follow the making of our new sails. A masterpiece! The work is impeccable and of high quality. We were only in a hurry, it's after putting them back in place, to try them out as soon as possible. It was with great excitement that our sailboat discovered its new sails.

For the sea trial, we'll have to wait a little longer. We have started a final project: repainting the bilges. We said to ourselves that after all we've done, this part of the boat also deserved a real facelift. So Rached rolled up his sleeves once again, and sanded all the bottoms before bravely repainting them..

Now the countdown is on. At the end of June 2020, we will be back at sea. In the meantime, the children are enjoying life in the harbour and the wonderful, caring relationships with our pontoon neighbours. Beautiful friendships that will have been forged that we won't soon forget ..
