Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing, spinnaker and fairing in Spain

In this new episode of Nomad Citizen Sailing, Marvin, Daniela and Tara will finally be able to test their windless spinnaker unfortunately before taking their boat out of the water for the annual refit.

After a week spent at anchor near Cadiz, Daniela, Marvin and their little Tara will return to the port to take the boat out of the water. The conditions will get harder with gusts up to 40 knots, so it will be better to be sheltered. But in the meantime, this last beautiful sunny day will be used (enfin?!) to test the spinnaker. But only over a distance of 12 miles from their port of confinement.

If this sailing allows the spinnaker to be hoisted, it will not allow you to test it with only 1 knot of wind. It will however allow you to ask yourself questions about the size of this headsail.

Back at the end of the day, we will have to wait until the next morning to get the boat out of the water with a crane. The opportunity to carry out the refit. But in Spain, it is not possible to stay aboard your boat when it is stored in the dry on the open sea. So Marvin, Tara and Daniela are forced to find a small studio nearby, in a colourful and very pretty little town.
