The A88 Gransport is a 27 m long open superyacht concept equipped with the automotive fittings that give it a sporty and aggressive look.

An automotive design

The A88 Gransport is a sporty and elegant superyacht concept designed by the Officina Armare design studio. This 27 m long racing car has a modern silhouette, an aggressive limit inspired by hypercars. Starting with the fairly low roof line reminiscent of the lines of a sports coupé, but also with the exhaust pipes hidden in the transom structure and a wider stern to remind us of the pugs of these sports cars. In fact, the designer pushed the concept to the limit by adding numerous air intakes, some of which are installed on the hardtop.

The A88 Gransport has an imposing bow and uninterrupted lines from front to back. The hardtop is built from large glass panels, which can be opened or closed depending on the owner's desire to enjoy the sun or shade.

Sunbathing and eating outdoors

Outside, there is a beautiful foredeck with sunbathing and dining table, a more intimate place than the cockpit, which can be protected by a bimini. The latter is very large and also offers a large sundeck and a dining area with an outdoor kitchenette. At the stern, there is a large tender garage all in carbon fibre - as are the hatches that house the exhaust pipes and navigation lights. The latter can accommodate two seabobs as well as a Williams Sport Jet 435 tender with its launching system.

A new mooring system

The yacht is equipped with a new anchoring system with one arm to simplify mooring manoeuvres. The latter is moreover enclosed in a hatch hidden in the bow of the hull (a system discovered on the Pardo Yachts) and can be manoeuvred from the helm station.

Four comfortable cabins

Eight people can sleep on board, divided into four cabins: two master cabins and two twin cabins. All are equipped with a private bathroom. The large hull windows provide all the light needed below deck. The layout can also be modified to opt for 3 guest cabins and a twin cabin for the crew. A generous galley on the lower deck completes the layout.

40 knots peak

With two 2600 HP MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesel engines and surfac propellers, the A88 Gransport will exceed 40 knots top speed. Its cruising speed is announced at 35 knots for a range of 350 nautical miles.
