New yachts to discover at Boot Düsseldorf 2020

The Düsseldorf Boot, the world's largest boat show, will open its doors from 18 to 26 January 2020. While many new boats have already been discovered at the Autumn shows, there will still be some yachts to be discovered at the German show.

The Autumn 2019 shows have already allowed us to discover many new products in the field of sailing. Expected novelties that have been much talked about, such as the First Yacht 53, the Dehler 30 OD, the Amel 60, the Neel 47 or the Excesseuros catamarans

And it's not over yet, as many yards have chosen the Boot Düsseldorf to launch their new models. Here are some of the models that you can discover for the first time.

Arcona 345

Swedish builder Arcona Yachts is riding the wave of success seen with the Arcona 435, European Yacht of the Year 2019, to launch the smallest model in its range, the Arcona 345 inspired by the former Arcona 340. Designed for short-handed cruising, this 34-foot (10.4 m) sailboat is suitable for both racing and family cruising.

Bavaria C42

The Bavaria C42 is the latest addition to the C-Line range and includes the characteristic elements of the recent C45, C50 and C57 the C42 will be offered in two or three cabin versions, with a V-shaped bow, a large cockpit volume and several interior layouts. The C42 will be offered in 2 or 3 cabin versions.

Bali Catspace

The Catspace is a 40-foot catamaran (11.80 m hull length) whose design has been somewhat modernized. This model will allow to compete with the other 40 feet catamarans of the competitors, but also to target the charter market, as well in its owner's version (3 cabins) as in the 4 cabins version.

Contest 55CS

Following the Contest 85 CS and 67 CS with a length of 26 and 21 meters respectively, the Dutch builder Contest Yachts is launching in January 2020 the Contest 55 CS designed by the German designers Judel/Vrolijk & Co.

This new 17-meter-long model is an ocean-going cruiser that adapts to the different desires of owners: long-distance cruising, comfort and habitability for lazing around at anchor or daily life in port. With this new model, the very conservative manufacturer is getting closer to modern standards.

Domani S30 Lounge

Due to the success of the S30 Sportyacht met at its 2018 launch, the Belgian manufacturer is launching the new Lounge version. The helm station has been moved aft with all maneuvers so guests can enjoy an even more spacious and comfortable cockpit.

Dragonfly 40

The all-new Dragonfly 40 is the largest model in the folding arm trimaran range. The design emphasizes maneuverability and short-handed sailing. The shipyard announces a spacious cockpit and an elegant and modern interior, which will be suitable for offshore and family cruising. Two versions are available - Touring and Ultimate - with a carbon mast

Dufour 530

The Dufour 530 is based on the architecture of the Performance range and should therefore have a high-performance hull. For the design, the manufacturer has taken on the characteristics of the Grand Large range with a functional, clear and safe deck layout.

Three versions are offered: Easy (owners and renters looking for simplicity), Ocean (traditional maneuvering plan) and performance (to seduce the racers).

Excess 11

L' Excess 11 is the smallest catamaran of the new Lagoon Excess range. With an overall length of 11.33 m, it nevertheless benefits from the same characteristics as its bigger brothers, namely a spacious and comfortable interior (3 or 4 cabin version) and a large open cockpit with a double helm station.

FH950 Fast Cruiser

The FH 950 has been developed as a fast cruising yacht, with a spacious cockpit suitable for day sailing or racing. The interior is simple with 4 berths, a head integrated into the main cabin at the front and a galley stored under the cockpit that can be moved around because it is rail-mounted.

Hallberg Rassy 40C

Hallberg-Rassy yachts have that image of quality, sturdiness and unostentatious luxury that Europeans dream of. With its characteristic white and blue hull and euro wood deck design, the Swedish shipyard has imposed its classic and traditional style on the world of sailing yachts.

After the launch of large units in recent years, Hallberg-Rassy will introduce in early 2020 the 40 C. This 12.30 m sailboat will be the smallest model in the "Central Cockpit" range, which already includes the recent 44 and 57 feet and the 64 and 48 MK II . Like the latest models, it has a more modern design.

Moody DS41

like the previous models, the Moody 41 DS is dedicated to living on one level. With a large glass roof, the crew enjoys a 360° view from inside and sails protected in any weather. Thanks to a sliding glass door, the cockpit is anchored in the extension of the saloon and the kitchen. Below deck, there are two cabins and two bathrooms.

Saffier Se 27 Leisure

Ultimate speed, high performance and eye-catching looks are the hallmarks of the new Saffier Se 27ft Leisure daysailer. Sailing solo and in total control, with all maneuvers brought back to the helm station to post double-digit speed are the promises of the shipyard.
