Web series / Driven by the Wind: A long three-day trip to Venezuela

In this 50th episode of Poussé par le Vent, Sarah, Aurélien and Nael join Venezuela. This three-day trip is an opportunity for Sarah to do her last big pregnant woman's navy and especially to test herself against seasickness.

Sarah, Aurelian and Nael leave Guadeloupe for Los Roques, a Venezuelan archipelago about 160 kilometres north of the capital Caracas, in the Caribbean Sea. This sailing of almost three days at sea is feared by Sarah, who is usually prone to seasickness, and even more so since she became pregnant.

Long journeys are rare, the little family sails exclusively on a day trip between the Caribbean islands and the last one connected French Guiana to Martinique

Finally, these three days at sea went smoothly, with mild sea conditions. The days and nights go by, the watches follow one another, the weather is good and so is the timing. But above all, the good news is that Sarah is spared from seasickness. Moreover, on board, no one is sick, except Nael, whose stomach is a little fragile for a few hours.

Arriving at anchor in clear water marks the end of the journey for Maloya's crew. And the arrival in a new country is always an event. The family will no longer have a big sail to reach Bonaire before Sarah gives birth.
