Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin, the luxurious tender is equipped with a wheelhouse

The Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin

Brabus Marine is offering its luxurious Brabus Shadow 500 Open in a "cabin" version. With this closed steering station, it is now possible to extend the use of boats in all conditions.

In 2018, Axopar launched a 37-foot luxury tender, the Shadow 800 , produced at only 20 units. One year later, with the launch of the Brabus Shadow 500 the Brabus Marine brand was born . A third model - just as exclusive - was launched in September 2019, the Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin.

The perfect tender

With a length of 28 feet and a speed of over 50 knots, the Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin is a perfect "shuttle" for fast travel and access to "inaccessible" places. We are talking here about intimate anchorage but ports whose size limit is 30 feet.

So far, nothing much different from the Brabus Shadow 500 . But it is with its cabin that this new model stands out. Because now it is possible to extend the use of your boat, with a closed wheelhouse, to sail in dry conditions during bad weather.

"There are few offers on the market, elegant 28-foot boats, capable of sailing up to 40 knots at cruising speed in the greatest comfort, sheltered in a cabin. There were many boats reserved for professionals or very fast RIBs" explains the site.

This new model retains the elegance and luxurious style that are characteristic of the range. Practical and versatile, it will be particularly suitable for sailing from one place to another, whatever the weather, even in difficult conditions, thanks in particular to the superb hull from the Axopar 37.

Aft Bench Version

Coastal or offshore navigation

The Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin now offers a protected helm door with a high level of comfort. The construction site ensures high performance - as with the other models - as well as "phenomenal" acceleration.

While it is particularly suitable for short trips between a port and a yacht, for example, or between a yacht and an anchorage, it is equally suitable for offshore navigation. In the first configuration, it will accommodate up to 9 people on board and in the second configuration, 6 people.

With its shallow draught - 80 cm - the Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin provides access to the nearest beach and even beauty.

Day-Cruiser version Aft-Cabin

A versatile boat

On board, there are many storage spaces to store passengers' belongings. But there are also water sports facilities, as well as the possibility of storing drinks and food.

Thus, if it is the perfect tender, the Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin can also be used as a luxurious daycruiser for owners looking for thrills and other speed enthusiasts.

Its versatility can also be used for diving, water sports or sport fishing.

In the cockpit, there are several possible arrangements:

  • Aft Bench (rear seat)
  • Wetbar (outdoor kitchen)
  • Day-Cruiser Aft-Cabin (Sunbathing with double cabin)

An elegant wheelhouse

Inside this protected helm station, there are the two pilot seats facing the helm station and three rear passage seats, similar to a car. The upholstery is made of leather, as on the rest of the range.

The roof is electric and allows the space to be opened when the weather is suitable or according to the navigation zones.

On the front, there will be a standard toilet with electric toilet and sink. As well as a removable table that can be lowered and covered with a mattress to create a sunbathing area.

Sporty driving

The Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin should offer an exciting driving experience, with a boat that is very manoeuvrable but also safe. In total, it will receive two 250 HP Mercury Marine ProXS V8 outboards.

A bow thruster, trim, electric flaps etc. are included as standard

Tailor-made solutions

With a bold and very elegant design, the Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin takes up the characteristic angular lines of the Axopar models. Its long hull has a low centre of gravity and a deck layout with a practical and versatile layout.

Handmade - like the other models - the finishes should be incredible. Fairing, painting, polishing are entirely carried out in a traditional way, a tedious process, not automated, which requires a lot of know-how and manpower and which can take up to six weeks.

Three gel coat colours are available in the catalogue - Platinum Grey, White Grey or Glacier Blue - and two upholstery colour options: Brabus Red or Brabus Cappuccino.

Limited edition

Like the rest of the range, this new model is launched through a "collector" series produced in limited editions with the Gunmetal Grey signature and the Brabus Red live upholstery.
