The Glénans school is an Atlantic journey targeting the far north

Les Glénans - Atlantic crossing

With the Petrel 46 offered by a former trainee (!), the crews follow one another to complete an atypical tour of the Atlantic Ocean via the Island and Greenland.

It's off to a good start for the Atlantic Journey organized by the Glénans sailing school. This journey, which will take a 46-foot sailboat across the Atlantic, will pass through the North and must reach Greenland before going down to the West Indies .

Left on May 27, 2019, the sailboat made a 1st stopover in Bangor (near Belfast), continued on a cabotage between Mull and Stornoway before preparing to cross to Iceland. The landing took place in the Vestmann Islands before reaching Reykjavik. On June 26, 2019, the new crew left for Greenland!

Everything is going well on board and the sailboat is continuing its journey without any problems. We have received some pictures of the edge that we share with you.
