After 6 months spent in mainland France, Hugo returns to his Ecume de Mer left at anchor in a "cyclone hole" in Martinique. Well moored in the mangrove swamp, protected under a tarpaulin, Hugo finds his boat again, to which he has devoted so much time in the renovation.
But if the boat hasn't moved, well held in place by its mooring drill (21 mooring lines in all!), it's the engine that doesn't want to hear anything. He has no more compression. Probably because the segments are seized. So, Hugo decided to tow his sailboat with his tender for 2 miles to bring it closer to the sailor's marina and to be able to tinker more easily with the engine.
Winterizing your boat, even when you prepare as well as possible this immobilization is not always without risk. The proof is that Hugo, who had stripped all his rigging to the point of dismantling his dies, found himself with mechanical problems.
