Invictus CX 270, an outboard version for the CX range

The CX 270 completes the CX range

The Italian shipyard Invictus Yachts will launch its new model, the CX 270, in Cannes in September 2019. 8.1 m long, this open with cabin is none other than the outboard version of the CX 280.

The CX range already composed of the 240, 250 and 280 CX welcomes a new model in 2019. The CX 270 euros overall length of 8.1 m euros will be unveiled in September at Cannes. If it is so close to the 280 CX the reason for the length of the boat being 8.7 meters is that it is the outboard version of the Z-drive model.

"The CX 270 follows the trend and allows us to better respond to the market. Brittany and Corsica, for example, are regions where outboards are more popular, as opposed to the Mediterranean where we sell more inboards explains Morgan Ropars, the brand's French importer.

This new model takes the hull of the FX 270 and the deck plan of the CX 280. At the front, the center console is well protected by a windshield with rounded lines. The helm station has a double bench seat with a backrest that tilts aft. In this position, it provides two additional seats around the cockpit table.

An L-shaped bench seat completes the cockpit layout. On this outboard version, the large sundeck and the rear platform have disappeared, but you can still enjoy a sundeck by tilting the back of the rear bench seat.

The difference with the CX 280 is the addition of a side sink on the port side aft. The CX 280 retains its large forward sundeck for relaxing at anchor. At the rear of the boat, the rear platform seems wide enough to move from side to side and thus embark/disembark easily or swim easily.

It can be fitted with one or two engines. In the first case, it will be an outboard of 400 HP and in the second of two outboards of 200 HP. The shipyard announces a maximum speed of 44 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. This open yacht does not forget to be sporty.

Below deck, the living space is characteristic of the CX range with a cabin offering a double berth and a separate toilet.
