"The Island" a huge beach club of 280 m2

The Nauta 78

The latest design of the Milanese studio Nauta Yachts is a 78 m superyacht whose main feature is its incredible 280 m2 beach club.

Nauta Yachts is a famous Italian design firm, known in particular for its collaborations with major French manufacturers - Bénéteau or Lagoon - but also for its incredible custom designs, such as Azzam the world's largest superyacht.

Its latest concept is a 78.4 m long superyacht, the main feature of which is its incredible beach club, nicknamed "The Island'" by its designer. For this project, the firm uses a stepped superstructure and numerous glazings, the studio's trademark. This neat and refined design has a fluid and slender aesthetic.

A huge beach club

The masterpiece of this 78-metre superyacht is therefore its huge beach club. The cockpit is framed by tilting bulwarks in which large windows are integrated. Side terraces on port and starboard sides extend to each side. When the bulwarks are tilted, just like the balconies, the aft end of the yacht is transformed into a huge swimming platform with a surface area of 280 m2.

"The Island" has a seawater swimming pool in its center. The latter is fully integrated with the rest of the bridge when it is emptied. A hydraulic mechanism lifts the teak bottom of the pool to deck level.

On this same level, there is a bar or the famous "Nemo" room, a kind of submerged cinema to admire the sea bed.

A huge owner's suite

The interior layout is planned for 12 guests and 23 crew members. The upper deck is entirely dedicated to the owner's accommodation. The large main suite has a king-size bed, a private lounge and large windows over the entire height of the superstructure. It has direct access to the helipad - located at the front of the boat - as well as to a private outdoor area with a jacuzzi and relaxation area.

Toys and tender à gogo

The boat can accommodate a 9 m RIB, a 10 m limo-tender and a range of toys such as seabobs, dinghies or kayaks. For the propulsion, the designer chose a diesel-electric propulsion system.
