Under the name "Sport", Mercury is launching a range of 7 Valiant semi-rigid models from 4.70 to 7.50 m. While the fittings (consoles, seats) are new, these boats are built on the brand's well-known hulls (notably from the pro Raptor range).
To differentiate them, the new Sport range uses the dark grey gelcoat colour inaugurated two years ago on the limited edition "Black Carbon" . The boats are available in PVC or hypalon. This is the Orca fabric from 1670 decitex.
The dual consoles are designed to protect the pilots and also to provide enough space to install large chartplotter and depth sounder screens. They are equipped with storage spaces accessible from the front or rear side.
The boats are also configurable with three seats for the pilot and co-pilot. Under the black cushion, a simple structure in black or polyester painted tube to offer more storage. Finally, on the larger models, it is possible to have two individual folding seats on the back, as an option, or a folding table to form a "dinette corner" at the rear of the cockpit.
Finally, the last development concerns the rear bench seat, which can be installed to offer more seating and more storage space. Fishermen will prefer to keep this space available so as not to interfere with the fishing phases. For family pleasure boating, these roadside seats are particularly popular.
