No, it's not a key reserved for the Swiss! The FTR Spanner with its cross-print is designed to unscrew the covers of the water filters.
Vetus water filters must be hand-tightened. But with the depression created by the circulation of water and with salt, unscrewing them often requires a lot of effort. So much so that mechanics often make "homemade" keys, sometimes with ping-pong rackets to get rid of this cover!
Now with the FTR Spanner key, this problem is solved. You can even hang a slut on the handle to keep it always within reach of the filter. The key is made of very strong ABS plastic.
