The Vespa Jet, the Italian dolce vita in a jet ski

The designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini to whom we owe the Jet Capsule is trying a new design work: a Vespa Jet?! The combination of modern and old to sail on the sea, with a touch of Italy

Always true to his leitmotiv: "think of the future and never forget the past", the Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini has just imagined a sea vespa. This artistic creation is the result of the fusion of a modern jet ski and a Vespa 50 from the 1960s. The PWC would be made of fiberglass and could reach 30 knots.

The Italian design of the Vespa is reflected in this jet ski with the same elegant lines, or the reflectors that are placed in the same place as on the scooter, just like the mudguard or exhausts. When the jet engine is off, a stabilizer system reduces roll when the jet engine is off, making it easier for users to install.

Two configurations are available: a 39 HP electric motor for a price of 25?000 $ and a 39 HP two-stroke motor also at 19?000 $. In both configurations, the Vespa Jet will be able to reach 32 knots with an estimated autonomy of 3 hours for the electric version. Various colours are available to customize your Vespa Jet.

When did the dolce live in jet-ski to the "real" tunes of Vespa??
