Web series / Pushed by the Wind: After a year, the Caribbean, but also the sargasso!

After Guyana, the crew of the vlog Poussé par le Vent has arrived in Martinique. A Caribbean stopover punctuated by numerous kite sessions unfortunately darkened by the pollution of the sargasso algae. This is Sarah's chance to raise an alarm about the toxic algae that are invading Caribbean beaches.

It took Sarah, Aurélien and Nael 4 days to reach Martinique, including 3 days of violent squalls! A hectic navigation with rain and wind preventing the crew from resting properly during the rest shifts... But this navigation from French Guiana will also have been an opportunity to fish for the first dolphin bream!

After a year of sailing, Maloya's crew is finally in the Caribbean! An arrival in Sainte-Anne that changes the solitary anchorages of Brazil and French Guiana!

And as soon as you arrive, it's time to kite and discover great spots like the Vauclin, the East Cape or the Cap Chevalier... But unfortunately, the sargasso slicks have invaded the Caribbean beaches and release their toxic gases, forcing our riders to avoid windy spots and to favour spots like the beach of Les Boucaniers, in Le Marin.
