In this new episode of Sailing Kalispera, Arnaud and Mélanie are working on the final preparations for the big start. A last month spent at anchor to prepare for life at sea and especially to save the exorbitant cost of a berth.
The boat still needs to be prepared and a little more tinkering: new joints on deck, replacement of toilets, dyeing of old cushions, installation of elastic nets in the cabins for storage, test of the anchor at anchor by 35 knots of wind... Not to forget anything, a long list of things to do... all in one month!
"On board a boat, there's always things to fix, you never end..." explains Arnaud!
It's also time to settle aboard. So it's time to move, put things away, etc. And to receive friends and family before leaving... We enjoy these good moments on board while making our mark on Kalispera.
