Every year, the Nautic Paddle (Nautic SUP Paris Crossing) is packed! The biggest paddle race in the world attracts amateurs and professionals to the Seine for a Paris crossing. And every year the places are taken by storm as soon as the registrations open. Then, this year again, the Nautic Paddle offers 100 additional seats, bringing the total number of seats to 800.

Change of name

The biggest paddle race in the world is changing its name. Previously called Nautic SUP Paris Crossing, the latter now becomes the Nautic Paddle. A simplification for paddle lovers and the general public that takes the name of the show that organizes it - the Nautic (Paris International Boat Show) - and the name of the board used.

An unchanged course

The Nautic Paddle is an incredible race on the Seine, for a crossing of Paris on water, from Bercy to the Eiffel tower via Notre-Dame or the Tuileries garden. The runners get into the water at daybreak at the level of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France for an arrival on the quai de Javel Bas. In total, 27 of the 29 Parisian bridges will be crossed by the paddlers of the race.

An international dimension

The race takes place during the Salon Nautic in Paris (8 to 16 December 2018) and every year attracts more and more candidates from all over the world. By 2017, there were 23 different nationalities!

This year they will be 800 to set off on the Seine with two possible routes to cover. A leisure circuit of 11 km or a professional circuit of 13.5 km, including some sporting difficulties in addition. The second round will take place in the heart of the Nautic lounge, on the swimming pool in the sliding area.

To your registrations!

Registration will open on 15 September on www.nauticpaddle.com . A draw will then designate within 15 days the 800 participants who, in teams, with friends or individually, will take the start of the 9th edition of this extraordinary event.

And to register, you have to do it fast! Every year - and despite the growing number of places - the registrations are taken by storm! So be on deck next September 15th!
