Hardware manufacturer Harken launches a range of pulleys called Element. With these models Harken shows that it is possible to offer affordable products without neglecting quality. All the work of the design office for the development of these models consisted in finding the materials to meet these specifications: Harken quality at an affordable price.

Sturdy construction
The element range has a composite sheave (in fibre reinforced nylon resin) mounted on a friction ring (no ball bearing). With its forged aluminium flanges, this gives the pulley great resistance. For example, the working load of the small model (45 mm sheave) is 700 kg!

Ideal for cruising yachts
Available in 3 sizes (45, 60 and 80 mm for ropes from 8 to 16 mm) these pulleys cover 95% of the shipyard's requirements for cruising yachts. With these strong and well priced blocks, Harken can offer an attractive offer for OEM yards. These pulleys are also interesting as replacements for the yachtsman.

All proposed solutions
Harken has developed a complete range of products to meet all demands. The pulleys are available as single, double or triple. With violin, ringot or blocker, free or flat deck. The pulleys are delivered with shackles as fixing point.

A yachtsman will be able to use them at the foot of the mast for halyard returns or to make a mainsail hoist or spinnaker blocks.
