After a soft landing of the deckchair in the West Indies, the family crew of Tivano takes its marks in the Caribbean waters. Grenadine and Martinique are on the sailing programme for this episode.
Charlotte, Julia and Gabriel's mother, tells us:" We loved Martinique which we found varied in its landscapes and with a very welcoming population. Less the Grenadines, which although magnificent are a little too tourist for us: exorbitant prices, not always very warm welcome... "
After the visit of Martinique, the crew headed south again to land in Cariacou :" We found a good plan to careen in Cariacou. The exit of the water and the place in earth are really not expensive and there is all that it is necessary on the spot like material. You can even sleep on the boat, unlike other shipyards in the French West Indies. Despite this possibility, we took the option of renting a small studio to spend the six days ashore. With our little foams, it was complicated to manage life ashore. Gabriel climbed the ladder on the boat in a few seconds, non-stop attention would have been required, not easy when you have to work on the hull... "
