Web series / Transat in 21 days for Nomade Voile

21 days is the time it took Fuga, Nomade Voile's aluminium sailboat, to make Cape Verde for Guadeloupe. A quiet deckchair with little wind, told in video by its crew.

While we extend our metropolitan winter, others sail under milder skies. This is the case of Nomade Voile. We had left Marie, Dario and their dog Oï in Cape Verde on the eve of their Transat.

In a short note (and in this video), Marie tells us about her Transat and their stay in Guadeloupe.

"From Mindelo (Cape Verde) to Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), it took us 21 days to cross the Atlantic under a very weak trade wind which made us drag along a bit! We would have liked a little more wind, but taking your time is also good. We had the right to a bath in a sea of oil in the middle of the ocean, and the visit of a school of dolphins that we were able to film in the water!

Arrived in Guadeloupe, hardly the time to blow that the boat was already on the traveller ready to be taken out of the water to make a beauty ! A week of fairing in the tropical heat and repeated showers! In other words, we were delighted to put the boat back on the water and start visiting the country."
