Jean-Marc Calmet created Open-Sail in 2014 to offer a different offer from traditional rental companies. At Open-Sail, there is no large series sailboat, with a maximum number of cabins to sail the most crew, no sailboat with maximum profitability... At Open-Sail we do not offer you a base with all types of boats (as at a traditional rental company), but only one type of boat present in many bases.
Only Pogo for rent!
The Open-Sail fleet consists of one Pogo 30, one Pogo 36 and two Pogo 12.50. Four sailboats sailing between their bases, the Atlantic coast summer (La Rochelle, La Trinité) and Mediterranean (Olbia) and the Caribbean winter.
A good way to do a transatlantic race
This management requires transatlantic transatlantic flights between each season. These deckchairs are marketed, either by renting the boat without a skipper and forming its own crew, or by integrating a crew (with a skipper) by renting at the berth.

Open-Sail's sailing yachts, which are quite atypical, are aimed at a clientele that is primarily looking for performance. But don't think the Pogos aren't comfortable! The quality of the service is identical to a cruiser of the same size, plus the performance.
On the pricing side, Open-Sail's offers are a little above average. But this is due to the quality of the yachts (carbon mast, lifting keel), but also to their complete equipment.
